Google Analytics on OSX – Dashalytics is an OSX dashboard widget that allows you quick access to your Google stats. It’s a tad limited, but will allow you to keep track of visits and page views and gives you some simple at-a-glance charts. The ability to create KPIs and view would be a welcome addition since numbers alone, mean little.
How to make anything – Can’t believe I missed Instructables. This site allows users to share how they make stuff with others. My first project will be the Toddler Proof Bike Hanger or a Glad Bag Pillow for flights.
Data Visualizations – Many Eyes is a collaborative for “shared visualization and discovery” from the folks at IBM. Another option is Swivel (serving up “tasty data goodies”).
Analytics – the Star Trek method – SiteLogic’s Analytics According to Captain Kirk had me laughing out loud. It’s also a really good intro piece to analytics, segmentation and the importance of data presentation.
Oliver Jeffers – We have two of Oliver Jeffers’ books and my toddler son loves them. The art, simply amazing.
