We created a brand new digital experience providing credit unions members with access to simple yet powerful tools to better manage their money on iOS and Android devices.
The mobile app provided a secure and convenient mobile banking platform that allowed users to:
- View account information
- Pay bills
- Transfer funds
- Send Interac® e-Transfers
- Receive messages and important financial reminders
- View rates
- Locate branches or ATMs
Unique to the app is the QuickView feature that lets customers view account balances without having to log in. This feature provides account balance information immediately and at a glance — a convenience that’s perfect for today’s busy lifestyle and driven entirely by insights into the most common consumer interaction with online banking — “what’s my balance?”.
This was a great addition to our mobile offering as Central 1 was already first to market in Canada with SMS text banking, mobile web, and mobile Interac® e-Transfer.
We worked with DesignStamp, a Vancouver-based UX consultancy to develop the user experience. And the application has since been improved with new features, an improved look & feel, and other enhancements.
